When Lamborghini debuted the Asterion at the Paris Motor Show, we were in awe. The Italian supercar manufacturer who's known for it's exotic mid-engine, wedge-shaped cars had done something completely different.

Not only was it a plug-in hybrid with over 900 horsepower, but the design of the mid-engined bull was seemingly timeless. It reminded me and Agent 001 of the car that started the Italian automaker, the 3500 GT.

Sure, we now know the Urus is making production and we understand it's hard to get change out of a small volume supercar manufacturer, but we have to ask:

Is Lamborghini decision to NOT build the Asterion a GOOD or BAD one?

THINK: not only did the company pass on the chance to take its styling in a NEW direction, it also passed on the chance to innovate and play with the leading edge supercars a la the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.

What say you, Spies?
