Although Agent 001 and I knew of the Nissan IDx's debut at the Tokyo Auto Show, we didn't get a really good look at it until the car made its way to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. And when we did, wow. It's a looker.

Every little bit and piece of these two Nissan concept cars are perfect. And, to be honest, that's a big deal when it comes to Nissan. THINK: Aside from the likes of the GT-R and 370Z, what Nissans have you lusting? I didn't think you could name one.

The Datsun-like IDx gets the juices flowin' though.

It appears we're not the only ones the car struck a chord with, either. That's because Jay Leno's Garage got an up close and personal look at it this week. And(!) they even got to drive it!

From the sounds of it, from the brief conversation with one of Nissan's designers, the IDx would be a front-engined, rear-wheel drive attack on the likes of the Scion FR-S and Subaru BR-Z. We like the sound of that.

So, should Nissan build it? Would YOU want one in YOUR driveway? Weigh in below!
