The Porsche 918 Spyder hasn't even been delivered to its first customer and its already making waves. Not because it's an unruly beast, but because its one of the most technologically advanced projects the boys and girls from Stuttgart have concocted that does UNDER seven minutes at the world famous Nürburgring.
Oh, and it bested the all-new McLaren P1 around the same circuit. I wonder how many bottles of champagne were popped that night...
But now that it will soon start getting into customers' hands we're likely to see it sporting all sorts of different color combinations. Being that it is, in my opinion, the most artful looking design on the road today, it's exciting to see it in different hues. There's just one problem, we haven't. We've all been exposed to the silver 918 and there was that racing livery vehicle that showed up in Detroit, but that about does 'er.
So when a set of studio shots of a 918 Spyder in yellow popped up on the 'net, I knew I had to share them with you.
