Koenigsegg wants to build a production engine that will have a 1.6-liter displacement, four cylinders, and will develop 400 HP. Don’t get too excited yet, though, as they are not planning an entry-level sportscar based on a GT86 or a Mazda MX-5, but selling the engine to one of their partners.
Who is the partner of Koenigsegg, you ask? Well, it's the Chinese automaker named Qoros, which has already unveiled a cam-less engine for production models, developed with Koenigsegg technology.
