Ever since Lincoln rolled out the MKC Concept, Agent 001 and I have observed it and essentially drawn one conclusion: This Lincoln is the American version of the widely successful Audi Q5.

From the proportions to the little design details, there is a lot of creative license taken from the four rings. That's not a bad thing and to be straightforward it's probably the best Lincoln design in the company's rather bland portfolio.

There's just one problem. There is a rival in form of the Cadillac SRX.

Given that vehicle's success and Lincoln's DIRE need of a product with legs — from a sales perspective — it looks like there could be a nice little CAR WAR coming up in the small luxury SUV class.
