Kia decided to bring the heat, or dare I say ICE, to the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. That's because not only did it bring one, it actually brought two particularly weird vehicles to SoCal's biggest auto show.

The first vehicle is a highly modified Forte Koup. I am not sure what to make of it but from what I can tell it seems to be a throwback to those dune-hopping machines from the 1970s. Am I right?

Note it has a stripped interior, a roll cage, a set of proper bucket seats, extended fenders to fit the HUGE wheel and tire package, as well as a bash bar with integrated LED lighting. It's a bit of a head scratcher but we're sure the team had fun putting this one together.

Next up is the Optima-inspired A1A. Painted a color that would only work in Florida all we have to say is "Word to your mother." Yes, that is a Vanilla Ice reference.

As you can see it features suicide doors and a fully reupholstered interior in a light beige color. Note that the B-Pillar still exists, albeit only halfway and that the top of the windshield has no protection. Clearly, this is strictly a show car that will never see the light of day.

Take a closer look at Kia's oddities, below.
