One car that we don't get here in the States is the Audi RS6 Avant. If you ask me, it's a bit criminal because it's a brilliant machine. BUT, if you're Audi of America and subscribe to the belief that wagons don't sell, you ship us the RS7. Not a bad trade, I must admit.

If you've followed Audi's product development with its RS cars over the years, it's not uncommon that before it goes out of production for the company to offer a final farewell in form of the Plus-badged models.

And, like clockwork, it's happening again with the Audi RS6 Avant overseas.

We only know this because Audi UK screwed up and its website update for the car was either being tested or went live early revealing the new information. This sort of thing seems to happen fairly regularly in the biz, making us suspect it's either a vendor issue or creative marketing.

Anyhow, the new RS6 Plus will benefit from 40 extra horsepower and some weight loss. When the official information drops, we'll be sure to pass it along.
