It's clear that McLaren is on a mission for supercar domination. After initially going head-to-head with the likes of Ferrari's 458 Italia and Lamborghini's Gallardo with the MP4-12C, it seems they are moving things up a notch.

Though it's not precisely known exactly what the 650S will be. Is it a replacement for the MP4-12C? Is it really a lightweight and more powerful MP4-12C a la the Ferrari 458 Speciale and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera? Is there some prevailing technology lifted from the P1 and bolted into the 650S?

It seems those details will be reserved for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month.

Until then though, these latest images that have been leaked should hold you over. We HIGHLY recommend you scope out the video below as well as you can tell with the swaths of Alcantara and lightweight seats there is an emphasis on this being a track-focused vehicle.
