The Honda Civic is one of those vehicles that people just love to buy. For decades the Civic has been the go-to mode of transport for folks seeking something that got the job done reliability with some style.

Hell, even I drove one for a couple of years during college. While it was not the most rewarding vehicle, I do have fond memories of it just because it was a workhorse. It also was a hand-me-down after the other two rides I had were long gone.

In recent years though the volume seller lost its mojo. With competition nipping at its heels in form of the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Elantra, Honda realized it needed to up the ante. And that's why the 2016 model year Civic has more swagger.

Of course if you saw our first foray into the all-new Civic you may have been left wondering: So, how much for this car with the capital "H?"

Well, now we know thanks to a leak uncovered by a forum dubbed, CivicX.

The 2016 Civic will carry a base price of $18,640* but, of course, that's essentially a body on a chassis.

We bring you an exclusive first look at the full 2016 Honda Civic pricing - invoice and retail! The base model LX rises by only $150, the EX drops in price by $150, and the EX-L pricing increases by $860.

The destination and handling charges are $835 (increased $15 from current 2015 models). Pricing is effective mid-November 2015.
