The Toyota Prius has been a remarkable vehicle for Toyota. Not only did it become a huge sensation when Hollywood's A-list crowd made sure to put them in their respective driveways, but it can be argued that it was the catalyst for the hybridization of vehicle fleets.

Since its debut we've seen the Prius morph from what was a rather bland-looking sedan into a unique hatchback that gave the Prius nameplate a presence on the road. Like its design or not, the second-gen Prius made itself known on the road. Same deal with the third-gen car.

The thing is though, the third-gen car was likable. While I am confident not many people will agree with me, I thought the third-gen Prius was a good looking vehicle and it got the job done — 44 mpg and I wasn't even trying.

Now the company has positioned itself to debut the all-new, fourth-generation Prius. While a recent spy shot revealed much of its facade, now we're seeing a lot more of it completely uncamouflaged. With two pictures appearing on a Malaysian Prius fan club site, much of the all-new Prius is seen for the first time.

Featuring a lot of sweeping and swoopy lines, it certainly is...something. I wonder how this design language will impact the Prius V and Prius C?

I'll let you weigh in for yourselves. Scope out the two images below!
