Adding independent rear suspension, numerous electronic safety features and other items raised the weight and lowered the fuel economy of several models of the rebuilt 2015 Ford Mustang, according to window stickers leaked on the Internet today.

Ford officials would not confirm the authenticity of the EPA numbers, which can be seen here: http://www.mustang6g.com/.

“We have not discussed fuel economy at all, and we’d like to wait until the EPA officially releases the Mustang’s fuel economy ratings,” said Ford spokesman Brian Cotter. He added that he could not confirm the EPA numbers on the window labels.
