According to various sources close to the company, Lexus is planning to bring back the SC nameplate after having discontinued the previous model in 2010. What used to be a yawn-provoking luxury convertible is expected to become a lot more exciting in its next incarnation.
The 2017 SC will be based on the beautiful LF-LC concept that Lexus unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, and is expected to be offered with a choice of two powerful engines.
