Just weeks after Proton Holdings concluded talks with Volkswagen about a potential partnership, another Malaysian company has reportedly inquired about buying Proton’s share in Lotus.

According to a report by Reuters, a ‘Malaysian carmaker’ has contacted Proton about buying its 63.75 percent stake in Lotus.
