Monterey weekend is typically associated with vintage automobiles, a golf course and an expansive view of the Pacific.

It's a beautiful affair from start to end and some automakers are starting to dial up their presence as they go where the dollars are.

Where vehicles, like the Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage car and McLaren F1 'Long tail', go for $11 and $3.85 million, respectively, you can't blame the auto manufacturers realizing this is a hotbed for activity and a great audience to pitch their wares to.

According to Agent 001, BMW had the largest presence this year as it had a villa located close to the event in addition to the large fleet presence featuring the all-new M6 and 6-Series Gran Coupe.

Following BMW was Lexus, which featured its all-new LS that would make for a fabulous multi-millionaire's limo. Of course a couple of LFAs were present, with the infamous yellow car -- that's been used for television commercials, tv shows and Kyle Busch getting an outrageous speeding ticket -- in attendance.
