My Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 2007
Here is the latest car in the garage, a new chevy tahoe Z71 2007. Its the sporty version of the Tahoe. The engine is a 5.3l V8 that produces about 355hp. Special silver exterior that comes only with the Z71. Black with light grey leather and aluminium trim instead of the wood 'plastic' trim.

Price: $39,617 after converting from UAE dirhams.

Pros: Looks good, Z71 bodykit makes it look better, the interior layout is a huge improvement over the last generation, cheap compared to the competition, comfortable for long trips.

Cons: Not the best materials for the interior, fuel efficiency, 4 speed auto transmition... welome to the 1980s!

My opinion: Not as good looking as the Escalade but close, and for half the price, its a deal.

My Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 2007

Oh so your telling me people actually buy an escalade to move lumber or tools??? They dont. Its just a decent looking SUV that can transport 7 people comfortably. I dont even need to move anything, I bought it to go offroad ( desert ). So there is nothing wrong if it looks good.

This is a popular truck. You should customize it! What's with the small stock wheels? Throw some 24" chrome on it, tint the windows, make it bulletproof, swap the Chevy badges for some Bentley badges...the possibilities are endless!

Have a question?

What is more enviromental friendly:

- A big SUV that can transport 7 people.

- Or two Toyota Corolla that can transport 7 people.

Nice truck, I do believe it could use some bigger rims and it'd be perfect. But since you said you're taking it offroad, nevermind.

Fantastc! Another roadhog to block my view ahead and blind me with its headlights from behind. Be sure to park in compact spots and ding my door when you step out too. Hell, why not take it a step further and raise your truck so that your front bumper is perfectly alligned with other drivers' heads as they drive their cars on the roads they're forced to share with you?

Come one M53R,

If you're going to tote your badass tahoe, get projector headlights and LED taillights. Also, where's the nav?

Nice Tahoe. I do like the two-tone interior a lot. If I wanted a big truck to go off-road, I'd probably get an LX470 or Range Rover, but this is definitely good if you want something less-expensive.

You should get bigger rims, definitely! I'd say 20" or even 21". They don't look as big as you think on a truck this size- they look tasteful.

Trust me muney is not my problem, I can afford an escalade if I wanted to, but the company gave me an amount of money to choose a car, and this was my choice.

But wouldnt big rims affect the car negatively when going offroad? Especially in here where offroad means going to the desert.

Have you changed the exhaust yet? If not you definitely should. American pushrod V8s all sound so damn good! Especially coupled to a lazy 4-speed slushbox.

Just make sure you dont drive behind me in any of your 2 corollas because you may die from pollution.

fuelfool

and you make sure you move your car out of my way so that you wont get blind from the lights, or just dont drive behind me if Im blocking your sight.

Problems solved :)

M53R.. DO NOT put this thing on big wheels.. If it wasent the Z71 I would say go for it but you got the more offroad friendly package so take advantage of it. Put some bigger wheels with the same size wheels, just better looking ones then what chevy gives you stock. Iv seen a couple of these around town with small lifts on them and bigger tires/wheels and they look AMAZING.

M53R's comments only serve to reinforce the fact that a significant number of the people who drive these retardmobiles are inconsiderate, self-absorbed, over-compensating little pricks. As if it wasn't already evident in the way they drive and park. These idiots don't even realize how pathetic people find them. Every girl I know laughs at them, joking how they must be compensating for having a small prick. Meanwhile, dweebs like M53R cruise around in their adult version of a booster seat thinking they're tough guys. So pathetic.

Oh god.... some of you people... lol.

Ok let me explain this, the tahoe can go on sand, get 7 people comfortably to where they want to go, and great for long trips. Now why all the hate?

fuelfool

I bought the tahoe to go to the desert, not for daily driving. Me and my friends like going to the desert so I need a 7 seater.... why all the hate? My daily driver is an X5 btw, but I posted this because its the newest car in the bunch and its a nice car IMO.

bimmermike

If you dont have anything good to say keep your F***ing mouth closed, calling my mum a whore? Get a life.
If you dont like it just say so, dont be such a prick yourself.

Can 2 corollas go offroad?

Why u need Two SUVs X5 and this? BTW u said u bought it to go OFFROAD in weekends.

(As 2 Showrooms Owner, if u had asked me)I would have advised u to go for Mits Pajero or the most popular OFFROADER in the Middle East, Toyota LC.
As u know it's value. Even after using for 2 years u won't loose much.

Tahoe is also nice.

Both of the cars you mentioned were on my list, including the Nissan Patrol. But the LC is getting old now, and I dont like how it looks, plus its going to change soon and way more expensive than the tahoe. The Pajero... a very fine offroader, but does not look good and the tahoe has a better interior.

So I ended up getting a Tahoe..

Relax M53R!

I didn't say that i like Toyota Corolla's.

I think ONE SUV would probably be more enviromentaly friendly by hauling 7 people than having TWO small car hauling the same 7 people.

Stop acting like a kid because i know you are!

I have nothing against you and btw my 1st comment about you moving the corolla's was a clear joke, especially since the Tahoe is not my daily driver.
But I was pissed of at bimmermike and his stupid comments so Im sorry.

bimmermike

As for you bimmermike, I want you to understand that the same way you think woman here are considered a 2nd person, we consider your women a 2nd person.

1st of all in here women wear the hair cover or vail based on their decision, we do not force them to do it but its a part of the religion, and some women do not follow it.

2nd of all, if you ask me I think we treat women better than you people do, we do not force them to work and we pay for them and we get them everything they want when they ask for it.

3rd of all, its a part of our religion to respect women and treat our parents properly, ESPECIALLY our mums, unlike you people who throw your mum and dad in the house of the old when you cant stand them anymore.

4th of all, look at what your so called freedom of the women has done to your country. Feminism is now everywhere, and have a look at the news.. its all stories about some girl getting rapped, is that what you call freedom?

Im sorry if I offended anyone, and please bimmermike if you want to reply, reply in a respected manner, the same way I replied to you just now.

Next time before you say anything, make sure you get your facts straight. Now I hope we get back on talking about cars.... Oh, and my daily driver is an X5..

M53R- Being a truck man I would suggest going with a suspension system that increases wheel travel if you have any plans of increasing your off road speed,(Don't get a cheap lift if you want it to increase your off road speed.) with a good suspension you could be doing jumps. I wouldn't go larger than 35x12.5 inch tires unless you beef them up for 37's and I would stick with an all terain for the sand with bead locks. A rear locker would also be benificial to improve traction. Definatly don't get those big 20in rims! Those are for people that want to pose as gangsters. They would not work well off road and increase your unsprung weight and would ride like a go cart. If you are a rich oil Sheik or money is no object I would get one of the best fabricators from California that build off road race trucks to build a suspension for off road racing! Why not a supercharger with headers and mandrel bent exhaust! All the best!
