As one of the more stunning debuts at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), the all-new Buick Avista really wowed us. This is the second consecutive year that Buick has brought something especially strong to the Detroit Auto Show.

It's refreshing to see that Buick isn't afraid to pull a rabbit out of the hat. There's just one problem.

IF the Avista becomes reality, there's a great chance that it will be delivered in a truly diluted form factor. We've seen this happen before with other Buick concepts.

Take, for example, last year's Avenir. It was one of the stars of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. But instead of doing something bold with it, merely some of its design cues made it onto the 2017 Buick LaCrosse. That appears to be it for the Avenir.

Having said that, let's assume that Buick goes a different route and actually builds the Avista more in line with what we're seeing today. Would YOU give the twin-turbo V6 good for 400 horsepower a shot?
