So now we have the ground pounding 467 HP GS F.  Yes it took a while, but we know that Lexus got it right with all of that extra R&D time right?  Maybe or maybe not.

To start with the stock GS really is not that bad at all.  Maybe not as sterile as the Germans do it, but then again not as intuitive either.  This is both bad and good.  My dad loves his GS interior and would feel right at home with this one  (high bolstered seats no withstanding).  But is this the cockpit you want to carve those canyons in California?
 
Could this be a great track car for the autocross? Or do Lexus guy even do that?  The point is you make of it what you want.  The typical Lexus driver wants creature comfort and performance.  This one might do both equally well.
