The Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) is typically an event that is dominated by the Detroit Three — Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). We're pretty sure that 2016 changed that.

If you walked the show floor this year you'd note that a ton of luxury automakers did not show up and the exotic manufacturers said "Forget about it." In addition, two of the three big domestics didn't blow anyone's doors off.

So when Lexus pulled the wraps off of the all-new, production-ready LC 500 it nearly melted attendees' faces off. Yes, it's that good.

Painted a deep and dark red, it captures your attention as soon as your eyes meet its rather forward-thinking design. It's hard to believe this is a production-ready vehicle but that is exactly what Lexus is showing us in the Motor City.

And you haven't even seen its interior yet! I closely inspected the inside through the glass and it's a super impressive space. Hopefully, Lexus will open it up today and 001 can bring it to life so you can better understand what I mean.

For now see the LC 500 in ALL of its splendor and let us know what you think!
