Before the start of the 2014 New York Auto Show, MINI made an announcement about a special edition that had bee cultivated by way of a contest the company held. Pretty cool. Crowdsource an interesting design, then let the MINI community decide which will be produced.

The winner was Alex Coyle based in Virginia. Pretty cool for a college student to get this kind of accolade on their resumé.

With up to 56 units slated for production, it's not something you'll see every day, that's for sure.
