Before I get started here, let me just preface that here at AutoSpies we love enthusiastic young businesses. What we do have a problem with are "meh" products.

Gracing the 2014 New York Auto Show front and center, right by one of the key entrances, was a car by a company called the Soleil Motors Anadi. Not exactly the most catchy name, neither is Corvette, but it sure does sound exotic.

Speaking of the Chevrolet Corvette, it's clear that this upstart is using a C6 chassis and has done quite a bit of work to it to make their vehicle. According to its website, the Anadi produces 651 horsepower, which doesn't sound too dissimilar to the C6 ZR1, now does it?

For me, the big problem is you'll note a lot of the interior is literally just a reskinned C6. I mean, c'mon, look at that steering wheel. Hell, if I really wanted a 'Vette and I wanted to update it why not just hand it over to Vilner and save a few bucks?

From what I can dig up on the interwebz, it appears that an Anadi goes for upwards of $300,000. Yes, you read that right.
