If you've been following AutoSpies for the past five or so years, you already know by now how we feel about Hyundai and Kia. It's been a tremendous story of a company that turned its operation around and, finally, started producing products that ate away market share from the likes of the big guns at Honda, Toyota and Nissan.

We tip our hats to you, Hyundai and Kia!

But now that it's seen success with the likes of the Sonata, Optima, Elantra, what's up next? What's the encore? Auto companies need more than one generation of product success.

While the Sonata was given an all-new update for the 2015 model year, the Optima still sporting the older chassis and skin. That's where the 2015 New York Auto Show comes into play. This is where Kia will be unveiling the all-new Optima.

Though I am sure a lot of you out there are saying "so what?" the reality is that Kia has been producing some gorgeous products as of late and we don't expect it to change course. The Optima has the potential to be the best looking sedan under $25,000.

And given the company's warranty and packaging, it very well has the chance to be the most competitive offering on the market.

All that said, Kia has released a couple of sketches depicting the all-new Optima. Obviously sketches do exaggerate certain elements, but if this looks like we're expecting, its competition may have trouble on their hands.

Kia's press release follows:

Following its 2010 debut at the New York International Auto Show, the Optima became a catalyst for Kia Motors' tremendous growth and has been the brand's best-selling vehicle in the U.S. for three years running. Now, five years later, Kia will return to New York on Wednesday, April 1, for the world debut of the passionately designed and obsessively crafted all-new version of its popular midsize sedan.
