While we saw the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe make its big debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), we have yet to see its four-door variant come about. Formerly known as the M-Class, the ML will now become known as the GLE.

Expected to appear on the first day of the 2015 New York Auto Show (NYIAS), the newly refreshed GLE is rumored to debut. The timing would make sense and as I've pointed out several times this week, the New York show is the premiere consumer show.

As of now it's pretty obvious that the GLE will feature all-new styling that's typical of mid-life refreshes. Expect a new front/rear clip, headlights and taillights and possibly some interior modifications. Given Mercedes-Benz's commitment to its 400 motor as seen in the newly updated CLS, I expect the GLE to add that engine to its lineup. I could be wrong as the 450 motor exists — I'd guess that will be reserved for the AMG Sport GLE Coupe though.

Stay tuned for the latest and greatest information surrounding the 2015 New York Auto Show!
