Yes, I know, I just want to acutally see it already, but the design briefings are very informative and there is stuff in it that has not been seen as of yet.

At least this time, EnnNorak will be able to blame Jaguar marketing.

;)

Jaguar should really get their act together and offer their new products with side strips to protect the doors from dings. And they better not use 6-spoke wheels on a 5-bolt rim...

Those side strips really make the design a whole: without them, you are prone to parking lot door dings. How stupid!

The wood on the doors looks very, very nice. Although, the pictures didn't reveal much.

Great news.

jagexpert, did you get a break down on options. What does the base get you? I am seriously interested. I hope xenon and nav is standard and they we can option up for sports suspension and upgraded trim. For example, my Range Rover Sport is fully optioned in the based trim w/ Nav and Xenon. I up to the nicer leather/wood and it wasn't that big of a stretch. I am hoping Jag follows suit.

I hope I can get one for 53K w/xenon,heated seats, upgraded leather, parking sonar, and nav.

Without a six cylinder this car will most likely not make it.

I feel really bad for Jaguar. It's just the bastard cat that sits between legendary Lincoln and affluent Aston Martin. LeftLaneNews has additonal pics of the XF w/o camo. When I see the side profile, it looks a lot like the upcoming Lincoln MKS and a bit of the Aston Martin Rapide. Ford has successfully stripped Jaguar of any individual character it once had.

The Jag XF most-likely turn out to be a premium-luxury version of the MKS and a less athletic variant of the Rapide. Boo! Ford, booo!

"Jaguar sense for selector and glove box."

oh...so it does not stay up all of the time? I like that. It is very Jaguarish to hide the techlogly when not in use.
