Actually the 1974~1977 2.7 liter 911 were the rare dogs you were talking about. (Not counting the 911RS) They have really short span engines. But they corrected that with the very bullet proof 3.0 liter engines of the 911SC — 07mcs (View Profile)

The upper wing element is the same as the 996 GT2, I heard the actual production version may differ slightly but then again how often do you see Porsche's production cars differing from the prototypes? Beyond the camouflage, the differences are not that huge.— richardp996 (View Profile)
