A new teaser image has given another glimpse at the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro and Malibu, ahead of their launches in 2015.

The sixth-generation Camaro is expected to get a sleek and aggressive makeover, while retaining its original design. The muscle car in its all-new avatar will be built on the rear wheel drive Alpha platform that also forms the basis for the Cadillac ATS and the Cadillac CTS

The ninth-generation Chevrolet Malibu meanwhile will reportedly be based on the E2XX platform. The wheelbase will increase by about four inches. This should improve the rear passenger space, for which the Epsilon II platform-based current-generation model is widely criticized.

Other cars in the teaser are the new Chevrolet Spark (also debuting at the New York show), the recently unveiled Chevrolet Volt and the American-spec of the next gen Chevrolet Cruze, that launched in China last year.
