Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer has all but confirmed that his brand’s answer to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ – a two-door he said was “designed for a 50-year-old” – could be coming as soon as next month’s Tokyo Motor Show.
Peter Lyon first reported on a smaller, lighter, and more stylish sports car two months ago. Code-named Z35, the car will likely be powered by a detuned version of the existing 370Z’s (Z34) 330-horse 3.7-liter V-6, plus, an all-new, more powerful 2.5-liter, direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder.
