While everyone likes to point out that Chrysler Group is now owned by Italians, what do YOU think its products would be like if the creative and individualistic French had taken over? Think no more, ladies and gentlemen.

The Citroen C4 Cactus — pronounced by the French "kack-TOOSE" according to what 001 tells me — is, in my eyes, the closest we'll get to that. It's a decent-sized sport-utility vehicle that has some controversial styling going for it.

One of the most interesting features is the Cactus' side paneling that's meant to take a beating in parking lots and garages. Essentially, that's the French's way of taking on door dings. Pretty interesting, no doubt, but this isn't something a rub strip couldn't resolve.
