In the past year, it seems that the Pope has been, essentially, on tour. Unlike Jeff Beck, we doubt he'll be trashing hotel rooms.

Of course as these happenings are quite rare, they tend to bring out a lot of individuals who either want to get a glimpse of or meet the Holy Father. Due to a variety of reasons, not excluding assassination, The Vatican typically organizes a fleet of specialty vehicles for the Pope to ride in and greet large crowds.

Dubbed "The Popemobile," they've ranged from things like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class to the Hyundai Tucson.

For the American leg of his tour, The Vatican has confirmed that the Pope will be riding in a modified Jeep Wrangler. We don't think it will be too different from what we've seen before and, in fact, we expect it to be the same Wrangler he utilized on his South American leg of his latest travels.
