And, we're back. Just when we thought Ford may catch a breather from its latest recall, another several land in our lap.

The first is the most significant with about 520,000 units being called in due to power steering failure. Essentially, the bolts in the steering system may fail prematurely leaving you without power steering. As it can happen at any time, you may lose power steering while at speed. Obviously, not good news.

As of now the recall is only being restricted to states that use road salt in the winter months due to an increase in potential corrosion. Models affected include: 2013-2015 Ford Fusion, 2013-2015 Lincoln MKZ, 2015 Ford Edge.

The second recall concerns about 50,000 units and deals with fuel pump problems though not specifically detailed. I would assume this may have to do with the Bosch fuel pump issues we've seen as of late. Models affected include: 2014 Ford Focus, Transit Connect, Edge, Escape and the 2014-2015 Ford Fiesta.

Lastly, Ford's luxury division, Lincoln, has recalled nearly 23,000 2015 MKZs because the parking lights are brighter than what is allowed under federal regulations.

If you own one of the models affected, be sure to contact your local dealership as soon as possible to make arrangements to repair the appropriate part(s) for your ride.

Ford Motor is recalling almost 593,000 cars and trucks in North America, including 520,000 because the power-assist to the steering could be lost, making the vehicle harder to turn, the automaker announced on Wednesday. About 554,000 of the vehicles are in the United States.

The steering problem affects the 2013-15 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans and the 2015 Ford Edge sport utility vehicle...
