When we look across the muscle cars on offer today, it's pretty interesting. That's because each that are available really do bring different things to the table.

Take, for example, the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. One is a new-age hit while the other firmly keeps its approach retro.

No question, they both drive better than their founding fathers but they're both in need of chutzpah to keep customers interested. Dodge's latest move, to introduce a Red Eye and equip Challengers with wide body kits, was genius. I saw a Plum Crazy example today and it looks just as good as when the Challenger was introduced over 10 years ago.

After seeing a rendering put together by Hugo Silva Designs, we're thinking that an updated Super Snake MAY be a good avenue for Ford to pursue. Give it a tremendous amount of power as well as a radical body kit that will make it stand apart from the traditional Mustangs and Shelby GT cars.

What say you, Spies?
