And the saga continues.

Three workers at Tesla's Fremont, California-based plant were injured Wednesday as what is being classified as an "industrial accident" occurred at the facility. According to the company's CEO, Elon Musk, in an interview last night, "We had an equipment malfunction in our dye casting operation, essentially sending molten aluminum and that's the issue."

Tesla's official statement regarding the matter was the following:

"There was a failure in a low pressure aluminum casting press. Three employees were injured by hot metal from that press. We are making sure that they receive the best possible care."

Musk visited the injured workers at the hospital last night.

Two of the workers had what were considered minor injuries while the third worker was being treated for serious burns.

This did NOT effect trading on shares of TSLA at the end of yesterday's trading day as the equity finished up 90 cents, or .65%, for the session.
