Mazda is letting us know they will bring two concepts based on the MX-5 to this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, after releasing two teaser images of them.
The first one is called the Speedster Evolution and -you guessed it- it’s an evolved form of last year’s Speedster concept. Finished in White Ether, the Speedster Evolution takes the lightweight concept even further with more than 100lbs (over 45kg) removed from last year’s show car. Tipping the scales at just under 2,000lbs, the new MX-5 Speedster Evolution is around 350lbs (160kg) lighter than a stock Miata with a soft top.
