Previously, I never associated Hyundai with performance. There was good reason for this. Not too long ago the Korean automaker wasn't producing luxury sedans or performance-inspired autos. It was known for its economy cars that you could purchase at bargain basement prices.

That all changed with several products in the company's portfolio; however, I think the last-gen Genesis with the V8 motor just showed people what Hyundai can do if it really wants to. Next step, Lexus LFA-inspired halo car. I kid.

2014 SEMA Show

Pictured below for the very first time in real-life is the highly modified Hyundai Genesis sedan. As you can tell these show cars are NOT playing around.

Equipped with bulging fenders, spacers, large diameter wheel/tire packages, titanium exhausts and, of course, carbon fiber, it's pretty clear there's a bit of evil in the cars whose marque's name rhymes with "Sunday."
