You know, over the past handful of years we have to give it to Hyundai and Kia. Though their technically under the same ownership, both car companies have really stepped up their automotive designs. In fact, we think these two are the reason why entry-level automakers have started shipping more interesting looking products that are edgy.

And, it doesn't appear that Kia will be slowing down anytime soon.

Seen in several teaser sketches and in video, the all-new Sorento will be taking a bow at this year's Paris Motor Show. If you can't wait until October, have no fear. In a company-issued press release the company says the vehicle will be showcased in Korea at the end of August.

Kia's press release follows:

Bold and sophisticated styling for third-generation Sorento

The all-new third-generation Kia Sorento will be unveiled in Korea next month, featuring bold, swept-back exterior styling.

The new model boasts a lower roofline, higher beltline, more muscular stance, rounded shoulders at the rear and deeply sculpted body surfaces. Together with a larger, more upright 'tiger-nose' grille, these design changes raise the aesthetic sophistication of Kia's best-selling SUV.

Styled at Kia's design studios in Korea, Germany and the USA, the all-new Kia Sorento will be showcased in Korea at the end of August, and is due to make its European premiere on 2nd October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
