Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is on the move right now really doing all it can to get all-new product on the streets for Alfa Romeo. While we are eagerly awaiting the launch of the all-new Giulia, it seems like the other portfolio company's vehicles are languishing.

Where's an all-new Grand Cherokee or some more Wrangler updates? This is another story for another day though.

What we do have for you are all-new spy shots of the upcoming Alfa Romeo sport-utility vehicle, the Stelvio. If we were betting men, we'd say that this vehicle will do some part sharing with other FCA vehicles.

According to Auto Motor Und Sport, it will leverage the Ferrari-built six-cylinder found in today's Maserati's but that doesn't seem to add up as that motor will be used in the upcoming Levante. Perhaps it will be detuned?

This got us thinking. What does the Alfa Romeo SUV NEED to SUCCEED in today's super competitive SUV market?

Does it need a sweet Ferrari-built six? Does it need to drive better than a Porsche Macan? Does it need that sexy, Italian styling?
