Being that we're fans of the Jeep Wrangler, we're excited to see what Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is bringing forward with the 2018 Wrangler. We have some expectations but we don't think they're too lofty at this point.

Early spy shots seem to indicate that the Wrangler will increase in size — it will be minor but every millimeter counts — and it's been made abundantly clear that the upcoming Jeep will utilize aluminum in its construction.

Now if Jeep takes it one step further with the evolution and ensures that the 2018 Wrangler gets an updated engine and the all-new Uconnect infotainment system, it will be a huge victory for the nameplate. That's because there's no question it will be the best generation yet.

Over the years the changes have been incremental, however, they've changed the Wrangler for the better. There's a reason why SO many people opt for the in-your-face and relatively crude truck. It's good!

Having said that, all-new spy shots were sent to Vince Burlapp and he ran with them. While it may look similar to the current-gen Wrangler that Burlapp posted in two pictures beneath the 2018 model year vehicle, if you look closely you'll note some key differences.

Can YOU spot them?
