I think I've made it quite clear at this point: Aston Martin is one of my favorite brands. Although their products aren't the most technologically advanced, the fastest or even the best built, that just doesn't matter to me. The company's products have such presence, style and sound amazing. It doesn't hurt that they feel a bit "old school" and I love the attention to detail on the inside.

Well, the time has come to replace the aging DB9. While I've driven a couple of the Vantage models and the Vanquish, I have yet to have seat time behind the DB9. I am sure it's splendid but it desperately needs an overhaul. And that's where the rumored DB11 comes into the picture.

If you were hoping for something NOT built on the VH architecture, you're out of luck. These pics make it clear this vehicle is codenamed starting with "VH...."

Recently seen lapping the Nürburgring and doing R&D testing, it's obviously very early in its development. While we originally saw a mule about a month ago, now we're seeing its all-new body though it is sporting some seriously confusing camouflage. I am having a tough time deciphering what's what but there are a couple stand out features.

Namely, check out its front lip, the C-Pillar area and its rear fenders. Its rear end and taillights are far from finished to start being able to tell what that will look like in the flesh when its sent to the production line. From what I can see, it appears the design will become a bit more curvaceous and fluid. Time will tell on this one.

Probably my favorite thing about this collection of spy shots though is what the spy photographer snapped. He noticed the vehicle's operation instructions on the center console. Considering how cloak and dagger auto manufacturers can be with developmental cars, this is especially cool.

My favorite line may be: "Get cars dirty and keep dirty."
