We've been keeping a close eye on the Lamborghini Gallardo replacement. There's two reasons for this:
1) Lamborghini's Gallardo was the brand's best selling model, ever. Obviously, there's a tremendous amount of business riding on this car.
2) Competition in this price category is as hot as ever with the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren MP4-12C being the direct threat.
While we're obviously left in the dust regarding specific details about the car, rumors circulating indicate that 600 or so horsepower from a V10 powerplant is to be expected.
What we can tell you is that to our eyes this camouflaged car looks like a significant improvement over the Gallardo's looks. Considering how good looking the 458 Italia is, it's nice to see that the raging bull has embraced more sensual lines over a car styled with only straight edges. I love the lines leading into the cooling for the engine.
