For those of you looking for an all-new work horse, it seems Ford may have the answer you're looking for. Let's say, for example, that the all-new F-150 doesn't have what it takes for your needs.

Sure, it's a great truck but you just need MORE. That's where the Super Duty comes into play.

Spotted for the first time, the 350 is meant for serious work. Although specifics are completely in the air at this point, there's heaping of speculation thanks to our friends over at TruckTrend.

The only major piece of the 2017 Super Duty puzzle that’s still unknown is what the gas engine option will be. It’s widely believed that the powerful, but thirsty, 6.2L SOHC V-8 will be put out to pasture with the next-gen Super Duty, leaving Ford’s 5.0L DOHC V-8 or even the possibility of a version of the 3.5L EcoBoost V-6. Strictly from the standpoint of output, both engines could stand in for the current 6.2L V-8 in the Super Duty, which produces 385 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. The 5.0L V-8 in the 2015 F-150 also produces 385 hp, with slightly less torque at 387 lb-ft. The 3.5L EcoBoost has slightly less horsepower but actually makes 15 lb-ft more torque than the 6.2L in the Super Duty. The non-venturi exhaust tip on this development mule suggest it is equipped with a gasoline engine.
