Since we initially saw the BMW X4 Concept make its debut, we've been particularly interested in this vehicle. That's because there hasn't really been a proper challenger to the Range Rover Evoque aside from the all-new Porsche Macan. And given how the Macan's price is likely to rise significantly when you add options — in typical Porsche fashion — we don't think it'll be a viable option for most.
Now the BMW X4, that's going to line up a bit more appropriately. That's because BMW's financing and leasing programs are super aggressive.
Although we've seen the red X4 M Sport revealed a long time ago via a wide shot when the vehicle was being shot for a promotion — brochure or television spot — now we're seeing these all-new shots of the vehicle up close and personal for the first tie. Obviously this changes the level of detail significantly.
Sources allege a 2014 New York Auto Show debut. Seems to make sense as the Tri-State area makes up a large chunk of the BMW consumer population.
