In recent weeks we've received a flood of photos and videos of the all-new vehicle in development at BMW and Toyota. Now, both companies are testing the next-gen Toyota Supra and BMW Z5 at the world famous Nürburgring track.
Clearly, the organizations are working very closely together. Why else would we see the Supra leaving BMW's M Testing facility?
As of now we're a bit miffed as to what powertrain will slot in both vehicles, but from what we're hearing the Toyota may benefit from a hybrid or electric vehicle setup and a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. The BMW, on the other hand, is expected to make use of a sweet inline six-cylinder motor.
In the latest set of spy shots we're happy to inform you that we're starting to see some details emerge from the Toyota's shape. While it's covered head-to-toe in a swirly wrap, it's obviously to see the FT-1 influences.
Note the large integrated rear decklid spoiler, clamshell and bubbled roof design, and large one-piece front hood.
Can you spot other details? What else do YOU see?
