I am a huge fan of design. Whether it's autos, homes or technology gizmos, I adore it. There's something about a great design that can take something that's rather ordinary and make it special.

That's what I think Toyota did with its C-HR concept its been tooling around to auto shows.

While we all know it won't feature a wacky motor or groundbreaking transmission should it ever become a production vehicle, I think we can all agree it has a striking design. Sure, it may not be for everyone but it certainly makes you feel something.

Initially appearing at the Paris Motor Show in matte blue, it was an exotic looking two-door sport-utility vehicle. At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) it appeared the company had changed its paint to matte black and added two more doors — look closely, they're very neatly integrated.

While this is interesting in its own respect, it turns out spy photographers have nabbed what they believe to be the C-HR production ride undergoing testing. While we can't be certain how much of the extreme design will translate into reality, we're sure hoping that at least 75 percent gets the green light.
