According to the latest sources on the street, Hyundai is the process of crafting a hybrid response. Aiming to take down General Motor's Chevrolet Volt and the volume-selling Toyota Prius, Hyundai is going for the gold.

While we have no idea what angle the company will take — trim and minimalist, or swoopy and complex — we do have some interesting photos to share with you.

Spotted for the very first time are images of the all-new Hyundai's interior.

As you can see in the collection of photos by clicking "Read Article" below, the pics show us an interior that isn't tremendously different from current-gen Hyundai products. A centrally mounted infotainment display provides all the information you'd typically expect and the center stack doesn't look too dissimilar from a Hyundai Sonata.

It's readily apparent that this is a hybrid vehicle undergoing research and development as its instrument panel features a display found on other Hyundai hybrid models. You can see it on the far left of the IP.
