Although Lexus has graced us with an all-new IS and we've been presented with an impressive F Sport model, we have yet to see the big daddy IS, the IS F. As a follow up to the last-generation IS F, this is an important car for Lexus' sport division as the all-new BMW M3 and M4 are gunning for their debut.
From what we've heard about the RC F, we'd assume that the IS F will also be equipped with that rumored powerplant good for 450 horsepower via a 5.0-liter V8 mill.
Problem is that this particular photograph posted to Facebook may not be the all-new IS F. A source, according to another publication, is saying this may actually be a standard IS with a TRD kit bolted on.
What say you, Spies? Do YOU still have a hankering for those diagonally stacked exhaust tips?
The super sport version of the new IS is just around the corner. Packing a 450hp V8.
From what we can see here, it will look even more vulgar than the regular V6 version.
With more black plastic trim, scoops, wings, spoilers etc...
I guess some people want that...
