Not too long ago you may recall we told you that rumors were swirling about that Jaguar would be debating making the F-Type a bit more attainable. Though there's no question the F-Type is a highly desired vehicle, the problem is that the current base model starts upwards of $65,000. That's a helluva sum of money to ask when you've got the likes of the all-new Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche 911 playing in the same ballpark.

Granted, Jaguar Land Rover has repeated many times that it is supposed to be a low volume product, blah blah.

The latest word on the street seems to suggest that a four-cylinder F-Type is on the way. And, given the proliferation of JLR vehicles with four-cylinders — or will have four-cylinders soon — we think this is completely realistic. Especially when you consider that the current-gen BMW Z4 and upcoming Porsche Boxster/Cayman will benefit from a four banger

These shots are said to be of the aforementioned F-Type. Obviously, not much has changed from its six and eight-cylinder bredrin.
