If you haven't noticed, Spies, everyone and their mother is producing seven-seat sport-utility vehicles for public consumption. And they're selling like hotcakes. 

Buyers can't get enough of them. 

Automakers of all stripes are listening to the market too. BMW's bringing forth an X7 and Lexus just showed us the production variant of its three-row RX. Well, at least some are.

As of now one of the things lacking in Jeeps product portfolio is a seven-seat SUV. But, if these drawings submitted to the Chinese patent are any indication, it seems like Jeep won't be waiting long to get something to market. Dubbed the Grand Commander, it would be a follow up to Jeep's last full-size SUV, the Commander.
