For the 2016 model year, Jaguar did some work to its already existing and successful F-Type. Aside from rolling out the coupe, the company has given the vehicle a slight refresh and added the availability of all-wheel drive and a manual gearbox.

That's not it though...

We've been following spy shots of a tarted up F-Type for some time now and it appears this vehicle will be coming to fruition and displayed in short order. Perhaps just in time for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA).

Although initial rumors indicated this HOT Jaguar would produce as much as 600 horsepower, it seems like we're going to have to dial it back a bit. That's because it's expected to produce the same amount of power as the highly exclusive Project 7 car. That means 575 horsepower is on tap and we expect it to get LOUDER.

What else to expect? It's pretty obvious this vehicle will get a more aggressive front valence as well as a more hardcore rear diffuser. Side skirts are also more prominent to help move air around this F-Type. And then there's the rear wing. I am not so sure about its from a styling perspective, but since it will be functional I guess there's not much to do about that.

Word on the street suggests that this model will benefit from less weight although we're not exactly sure how much is reasonable. I'd guesstimate a weight loss of about 100 pounds.
