The Mercedes-Benz MLC is probably one of the more interesting concepts coming out of the three-pointed star in about a year.
There's good reason for this: it negates all the haters that said the BMW X6 was worthless, and as I like the X6 I do like Mercedes' more dynamic take on the sport-utility vehicle.
So, while we're sure the standard MLC in production form will be pretty cool, we're more interested in the more sporting AMG variants. Although it's yet to be confirmed, the latest rumors swirling are indicating that there will be an MLC63 AMG and an MLC65 AMG.
Bi-turbo V12 power sent through an all-wheel drive system? Hell yes.
The latest spy shots of the MLC AMG were snapped at what appears to AMG's test facility outside of the Nürburgring. This doesn't appear to be the Affalterbach facility. It appears the research and development car has all the tell-tale signs of an AMG product: quad-tipped, squared off exhaust, larger wheels/tires, massive air intakes in the front valence and a big brake kit.
