In the past week we've seen the all-new, leaked shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Typically in that kind of situation the automaker will just let it all hang out a few days later as the party has been spoiled.

Not this time.

This leads me to believe that they'll be revealing it at the Detroit Auto Show or, possibly, even Geneva. With the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show right around the corner I would have expected a full reveal or tease at this point. Hey, I could still be wrong. We'll find out very soon.

Now, the subject at hand — the C63 AMG — has been spotted, yet again, making its way around the world famous Nürburgring. From what we're seeing at this stage it doesn't seem as though much more has been revealed. But given Mercedes' cadence with its all-new AMG models, it's expected many of the similar styling elements will carry over.

THINK: the front grille with double lamellas, wheels, squared-off exhaust tips, lip spoiler, etc.

What remains a mystery is if Mercedes will offer this as a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive product. We're crossing our fingers it stays RWD but if we were putting money on it, AWD is the most likely route in our opinion.
