Although we may not receive all of Audi's product portfolio here in the US — the A1 and the A5 Sportback, for example — that doesn't mean we don't cover what the four rings is up to.

In the battle for market share, it's clear that there is a huge land grab with the German automakers, even if that means creating demand destruction among its partner companies. So, Audi launched the A1 coupe. Soon thereafter followed the A1 four-door sedan.

Though there's been confirmation of a hot S1 to follow up and we've seen spy shots of the car undergoing testing late this summer, it's been missing in action, until now.

Nabbed overseas while being transported, this appears to be a fully uncovered S1.

Note the little changes, such as the venting in the front valence and the modified exhaust system.

Word on the street suggests that we'll see the real deal emerge at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. We have our fingers crossed.
